BRILLIANT NEW TEXTBOOK!
The textbook by Prof. Peretz Friedmann George A. Lesieutre, and Daning Huang is I true gem. It is a very modern book that reflects the current state of knowledge. It is written with pedagogical mastery and will serve as a brilliant instrument for teaching. It constitutes a well-balanced presentation of topics and attests to the authors' deep competence and excitement with teaching. May the smashing success of this book prompt the authors to deliver yet another text, now in aeroelasticity, of which they are internationally recognized top-rated experts. An excellent book on structural dynamics
A rigorous treatment of the fundamentals with several other important topics in aerospace engineering. I recommend this book to anyone interested in learning the core topics of structural dynamics (Hamilton's principal, eigenvalue problems, normal modes, approximate/numerical solution methods, etc.). The examples and homework problems are extremely helpful and approachable for the newcomer. The book is also a great reference for anyone who is familiar with structural dynamics and is interested in learning more about some of the more advanced topics like damping, rotating systems, and stability of periodic systems. It's no wonder that the authors must resort to citing themselves occasionally throughout the book - they have had a great influence on the field during their careers.

O livro é muito bom, mas a entrega da Amazon, como sempre, deixa a desejar. A impressão que passa é que os entregadores movimentam as cargas no chute. O livro chegou com todo amassado.
