NOT compatible with 1000W scooters.
The controller itself is fine. It's well-made and compact. The reason for the negative review is that this listing identifies it as being compatible with 1000W scooters. It most definitely is not.It will work, sort of, but it will repeatedly shut down because it’s only intended for 750W scooters and the overcurrent protection will kick in any time you hit a hill or try to open up the throttle.Currie makes good stuff, and it’s probably just fine if you have a scooter with a motor that’s 750W or less. But the item title says it’s for 1000W scooters, and that’s a lie. You’ve been warned.
