Fruit of the LoomWomen's Valueweight Short Sleeve T-Shirt

I am a petite (5'1) size 8/10 and went for a M size after reading the reviews regarding sizing. It fits perfectly as in it isn't snug but not overly loose either. Nice length (sits just above my hips) for a petite person like myself but might be a little short for a taller person. I like it though and great value!

I took account of the reviews which said it might fit a bit small, but it's hard to know what sizes are what these days anyway - one firm's 'large' is another firm's 'medium' - and if you are a badly-in-need of exercise size 16 on the high street it's also not easy to work out where you lie on a size scale used for things like T shirts! I also try to make allowances for the slight shrinkage you get with tumble-drying (the first time most things always shrink a tiny bit). So, bearing all those variables in mind, I ordered two sizes, this one being the smaller of the two (the 'large') and chose navy blue because I knew if it was no good for me my daughter would make use of it (which she has, because as expected it is a bit 'snug' on me!).However, as far as make and quality of material is concerned it's great - they feel like a sturdy T shirt, not thin and flimsy. They wash, tumble-dry and iron well so far too, so no complaints in the short term, but as ever with clothing reviews I don't give five stars for something until it's been through the laundry process a few times to see if the initial praise is still justified a couple of months down the line! It's nothing earth-shattering in terms of style or design, but it doesn't claim to be. If you just want a T shirt that will do for almost any occasion for which T shirts are needed/wanted, then you won't have any complaints. Just err on the side of caution with your size, or (if you have someone to hand on to, as I have) order two like I did and see which one is best!

A lovely T-shirt fit is perfect

This is good quality, the colour is lovely, and I'm sure it would be very flattering - if it fitted. I would say you probably need to order 2 sizes up from your normal size.

The size is totally wrong, so sad as the colours were so lovely and the cotton was good.

This is a very well made T shirt and not too exoensive.

I was asked to review this before it had arrived. There was a delay for some reason. It came up small for me, so I have had to send it back. There is no give in the fabric, so it will just stay tight, and maybe shrink in the wash too. So I went to order a bigger size but it wasn’t available in navy which is what I needed. I have therefore ordered a different one, in a bigger size, the navy, and now await that delivery. I have purchased fruit of the loom before and always been very happy with the quality and no problems with shrinkage, but I was better off buying a larger size than worrying about what might happen.

Nice colour. Seems fine. It took a bit longer to arrive than I expected.
