Dona Mara Mole Sauce 8.25 Ounce Jar

this was my first try at a store bought mole sauce, and i must admit this one was very good. for flavor, i give it a 8.5 out of 10. One jar makes a LOT of mole sauce (it is concentrated), so you do not need to buy too many!

This is a great substitute for making fresh mole.The lid can cut you, beware. But this is the best pre-made mole if you don't want to make fresh.

The best mole on the market. Competes well with homemade! Delicious!

I Love this brand of mole, but I’m upset because when I order this it said there were 3 jars! When my packaged arrived it had only 1 jar! I will not buy again specially from this seller

As close to the handmade real stuff you get at its birthplace. One jar broke. Problem handled more than satisfactorily.

second time buying this, thought i would give it another try using various fix ups given in the raving reveiws. I added my own chicken stock, peanut butter, mexican chocolate and tried different takes but the taste is just underwhelming and a bit strange. Id rather just add the chocolate and stock and skip this ingredient. perhaps its a taste of home but as im coming in fresh its just not worth it. the jar is a nice size for other uses so that is nice but taking the lid off is guaranteed a spill and oh what a nasty mess it is, oily and dirt dried at the same time. replacing the metal lid is also hard and will leak.im skipping on this taste of home

The product is great and I ordered it before and received 4 jars.Received only one this time- very misleading and disappointing.I would advise to buy from another vender not this one.

I can't understand why this isn't a restricted substance. It's sooooo gooooood. I do wish it hadn't leaked all over the place, I had to lick it off everything else in the bag.

Awesome tasting

Bought this to use in a recipe that I was trying to replicate from a meal-kit company. I was initially worried about how thin the sauce was after diluting it with water, but on heating, it thickened up really well. Not sure that the flavour was particularly outstanding, but the recipe worked out and was tasty. I might try a different brand another time for a comparison.
