This pack of party supplies is basically a party in a bag. You get a lot of stuff for not a whole lotta money, making this a really wonderful deal. This pack features a super hero theme, as well as service for 24, including 2 sizes of plates; plastic forks, spoons, and knives; napkins; cups; and even festive striped paper straws, something kids will love. The pack also includes a banner and tablecloth. The banner, unfortunately, is not pre-strung and requires assembly. However, this pack is such a deal that I don't think that takes away from this pack. I just hate stringing banners, lol. The theme is boldly colored and printed with clarity and saturation on all the various items. The quality is on par with party supply chains. You'll likely want to supplement a little more decor, like cut outs or a centerpiece with your kid's favorite character, but this pack offer great value and convenience, taking a lot of guesswork out of party planning.

I took a star away due to the weakness of the plates & cutlery. I won't let the young people carry a full plate across the room unless it's reinforced w/another plate underneath. Also a good idea for adults. It's amazing how individuals differ in what they see/feel. I read other reviews before I ordered this. Several folks were impressed by the sturdiness of the plates, mentioning that full plates made it just fine when carried across the room. From my handling of the plates & cutlery, I'd say it will work fine w/a slice of cake & scoop of ice cream. Our family birthday parties usually include a family feast, buffet style. So definitely, plates will be filled at the buffet, & carried to the tables where we gather together. These plates will not support full-plate weight w/out being very careful, & adding extra support. The plates & cutlery will be fine for cake & ice cream. Not so good for venison roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, roast chicken, wild rice, salad, veggies & fruit. I even got a 2nd & 3rd opinion. We'll reserve these for the cake & ice cream, & use heavy duty paper & some ceramic plates for the meal--thanks to our dishwasher, my favorite appliance. We'll seat the kids & serve them at the table, reminding them not to carry their full plates off the table. I took only one star off for the weak paper/plastic. After all, the important thing w/this set is that the kids are happy using it. Having matching plates, napkins, paper cups, banners , etc. impresses them greatly. A good amount of "cool", "neat" "wow" comments were heard. They loved them, & our boy got some brownie points w/his friends. The colors are bright, the graphics are stunning, the banner & tablecloth are wonderful touches & shout "celebrate"! Kids don't care that the napkins are a bit scratchy, or the price is high for the quality. They feel special, as they are, especially on their birthday, while celebrating w/friends & family. This set doesn't represent any particular super heroes, just a cartoon cityscape of bright reds, blues, blacks, & yellows, sky scrapers, & cartoon bubbles that remind me of the Batman show back in the day. No real violence, just the suggestion that the bad guys were in trouble. This set was so well received by the guests; even the adults were impressed, some asking for purchase details. So I learned that sturdiness is not the only important quality, that visuals & uniqueness counts for a lot. I will recommend this set, w/details on it's best uses, to my friends. My final negative is that the price is high for the quality. I'd pay a little more if the materials were stronger. However, the design & the colors are clear winners! I'm now a fan of the sets for children's birthdays. I'd consider a set for my celebration if I find a design I like.

This birthday party set is really nice and comes with tons of supplies so that your party is super! I'm a fan of the comic book super hero theme with fun POW! and BOOM! plates with the cityscape and bright red background. I grew up reading DC comics which belonged to my dad. So I guess the love of superheroes and comics runs in the family. This bundle is great for a themed party for anyone who enjoys comics and superheroes. Everything you might need is here. The plates are coated so that oil or moisture won't soak through and make them soggy. The large plates are great for a burger and chips or a slice or two of pizza. The smaller plates are coated as well, and they are really good for desserts like birthday cake - my favorite! There are cups and straws, but the cups do tend to get soft or soggy pretty quickly. I've found that with small cups like these, it's great to serve dirt cake, pudding, or, what I opted for, ice cream in the cup instead of using it for beverages. They are also good for dry snack mix, too. Of course there's a banner and table cloth to make sure everything is festive and on theme. The plastic cutlery is pretty good quality and not flimsy like some other kits. We're really happy with this set and it worked out great for us!

POW! these have all the pizazz of a comic strip party. i love the classic comic strip theme here without any specific charactar its all about the comics in general and the art fans of comic strips genre can go with any thing they want to. My idea was to lay down some freezer wrap paper onto the tables for a table cloth and let the kiddoes draw up their own strip while they ate cake and it really got them into the creative imagination. Then we got to keep the art work something that will bring me back to that party for years to come. so this party kit was the best and i was happy to throw a comic strip party with the birthday boy as his own hero of the day. not gonna lie, mom was a little bit of a hero that day too but shhh dont tell anyone. pretty sure all moms are the unsung hero of the everydays ...all the battles we take on for these types of things. ill tell you a secret and this party was so much easier to win since i got everything i needed in one bag and i could focus on the other stuff. if you have to throw a party this is the way to go. price is right too and saves you so much time ....time you need to save the world.

This was great for a grandkids birthday party. Lots of "Pows" and "Booms" from the kids! The tablecloth was fun. I wouldn't use the Happy Birthday banner outdoors in the wind, but it works great indoors. I used the leftover tableware and table cloth for an adult gathering and it was fun.
