Tried all troubleshooting steps they recommended. Review: Looks and feels great but does not operate Soundbar 500 - The RYQIF Remote Control for Bose Smart Sound Bar looks like a great remote. It's a nice size, sturdy remote with real rubber pressable buttons. The face has a brushed metal texture (though rendered in plastic) and it even has a Braille indication for the power button. The remote runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included) and the batteries have a little extra molding to capture the negative end. All that's to say that this isn't cheaply built; there are choices here that indicate it should be a high quality device and definitely wasn't built to be cheap. I was very disappointed to find that it does not actually operate my Soundbar 500. None of the functions work to control the soundbar, and it's unable to turn it on. I was able to check and verify that it is sending IR signals, but they just don't seem to be compatible ones. Despite its physical quality and appearance, I cannot recommend this remote to anyone who owns a Bose Soundbar 500. ## Features - 【Remote Compatibility】Compatible with model 900 500 - 【Ergonomic Design】Compact and lightweight, with a comfortable hand feel.
