Buy this, maybe discard or set aside the metal part (it’s very sharp) and attach a chopstick or other similar item into the hole clearly meant for a stick and you’ve got yourself a Mellow Drip at 1/3 price.I love this thing. I use it my second or third pour to reduce agitation and get a faster draw down for lighter roasts or beans with a lot of fines. It does a great job. I’d buy another one in a heartbeat if I didn’t have this.

Near identical to the melodrip, but with a nice metal stand instead of the (very useful and actually preferred) metal stick. I use a pair of forceps to hold the cafemasy (it is just a small lil plastic dripper that is entirely separate from the metal stand) and the control of being able to move it around while pouring is great. Some folks mentioned using a chop stick and that also works if your chopstick is the right size. The money you are saving is entirely due to the lack of metal stick and if you can supply your own this is a great deal.

Nicely made, although the edges of the stainless piece could use to be smoother. The melodrip part just sits in the stainless base. It's not attached in any way, which is actually nice because you can use it separately if you find something to put where the handle of the melodrip would fit. Pretty sure it's a melodrip and not a clone, because I've seen them and this looks identical in every way. Great deal at this price, and youtube coffee guys have proved it provides a superior extraction to general pour-over techniques.

It seems to work well, but the metal stand it comes with has very sharp edges and will cut you hand/fingers. Suggest going for the cheaper plastic stand instead.

I don't know if I could be more pleased for the product. The only question I have is does this infringe upon Melodrip's IP, because from what I can tell it is the same exact dripper for over half the cost! It even includes the hole for the holder which I was able to use with a chopstick flawlessly. I like the metal stand especially for using with my aeropress but I prefer the chopstick as a holder for pour over.
