Do not buy these! Bad value per nut, inferior material, and the threads did not fit!
I received the “15pcs Hex Nuts - [M5-0.8] 201 Stainless Steel (A1) Hardware Nuts for Mechanical Repair & Assembly, Standard Metric Coarse Thread Nut, Bright Finish, Silver”. The nuts arrived in a tiny zip lick bag in a medium sized cardboard box. The box arrived a little beat up, but the nuts had no apparent shipping damage. I went to check the fit of the nuts on a known M5 x 0.8 bolt and THE NUTS DO NOT FIT!!! I tried some of my other bolts (like M4, M6, #8-32, #10-32, etc to see if they just put the wrong nuts in the box, but the nuts would not fit any of my bolts. The nuts and threads look good visually, but do not fit any bolts I have. As I ordered these through the Amazon Vine program, I contacted them, described the issue, and was told that the value would be removed from my account. I did not make any effort to contact the seller. Note: If you Google “How does 201 stainless steel compare to 304 or 18-8?” it will tell you that 201 is inferior. The price per piece was significantly higher than other offers (with better stainless steel) on Amazon, other on-line retailers, and even one of the big box stores in my area… Overall, this was not a good “purchase” and I do not recommend anyone buying these.
