Himalayan Institute Tanp Nms 01 Neti Mist Sinus Spray

I simply can't say enough good things about this product! I live in an area that is probably not the best for people with sinus congestion. I've used all kinds of over-the-counter products like Flonase, Claritin generic, Zyrtec generic, Mucinex generic, meclizine, Benadryl generic, etc. I've used a Neti pot, which is okay after you get a little practice. I've used saline nasal rinses, which are actually pretty good. I've used both hot and cold vaporizers, also, but by far the best thing for me is this Neti Mist. Yes, I read a review in which a woman said it caused a severe reaction for her. Just about anything, including saltwater, could cause a reaction for someone. It's always possible. I'll also admit that this Neti Mist can burn just a tad if my nose is irritated for some reason. Anything is possible, but this product has really helped to clear my congestion like a champ! I just can't emphasize that enough. At this point, if I could pick only 1 of the remedies I've tried, it would be, without a moment's hesitation, this Neti Mist. It has worked wonders for me, but I'll admit I may not have felt that way or may not have noticed it right at first. I can't say why that is. There could be many possibilities. What I can say is that it has helped me tremendously and it would be worth a try for anyone suffering from sinus congestion issues.

Neti-mist has been a life-saver for years to prevent my frequent, chronic sinus infections. I started w the netí-pot until I discovered the neti-mist. It’s usually very soothing and effective. But...I just received one (lot#HNM021). It had a very plastic, chemical smell and is still intensely burning my sinuses an hour after use. I didn’t want to post a bad review bc neti-mist has been a lifesaver but the telephone number on the product doesn’t seem to work. Save yourself the trouble until they get themselves sorted out

I've been using this for years and while it's not perfect, it is better than most products I've tried. I use this twice a day, most days, for allergy and runny nose and also for sinus and inflammation. It does sting a little at first but helps allow me to breathe through my nose enough, in conjunction with a Neti pot rinse once a day, to do breathing exercises for yoga. Then be able to breathe the rest of the day as well. I have not opened this bottle yet, I tend to order before I run out and still have a little in my last bottle. The name is different on this bottle, Himalayan Chandra instead of Himalayan Institute and the ingredient list looks a little different. It does seem to be the same product, maybe a little reformulated? I hope it's the same. Update: I've seen a few reviewers complain about the stinging they experience and I wanted to address this. Ginger and other ingredients can burn or sting the nasal passages for some people including myself. My trick is to spray a regular saline spray once in each nostril prior to spraying the Neti mist and it prevents any burning for me. Hope this helps others, the product does work.

I have a very persistent problem with nasal congestion and have tried a ton of different nasal spray moisturizers. Like most all the others, this one failed to deliver enough relief for me to justify the cost. I have found that Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract Liquid added to regular saline nasal spray seems to help more than any of these other over-the-counter sprays I've tried to reduce the amount of mucus build-up and help keep it loose enough so it can be cleared by nose blowing. It's not total relief for me yet, but for stubborn cases like mine, weekly treatments help eliminate about half the nasal congestion and the results last for several days. I'm still getting weekly treatments for my sinuses with the goal being to end my sinus problems once and for all. Oh, and by the way, acupuncture and oriental herbs are also keeping my BPH problem under control too, and I'm no longer taking prescription drugs of any kind!

This is a fabulous product that has solved a serious problem for me. However, the quality control stinks. The first bottle I used was no problem - I sprayed the full amount, no discomfort, and it worked. Well, I got my second bottle, sprayed like the first, and it was like all the negative reviews here - I thought my sinuses were on fire and the front of my face was going to explode. After that, I sprayed very little, no burning and it worked. Some bottles are fine, some aren't. When I start using a new bottle I spray very little to determine what I'm working with and adjust from there. In spite of the problems I give it 5 stars because it works so well.

I haven’t used it for very many days, but it worked very well. There is a mild burning for a few minutes after use, but not really that bothersome. It opens up my head, much like Afrin, or the other nasal sprays, but it’s something you can use for several days without a problem. It does not last as long as some of the others but you can use it every two hours or so. At least I have.

Oh my Lord this stuff was HORRIBLE for me! I suffer from winter allergies and I was sick and tired of waking up at 3am like clockwork, totally stuffed up and spraying chemical nasal sprays in my nose! I wanted something natural. Well let me tell you, NOTHING I have ever used in the past burned my nose like this stuff did! I sprayed it in and it IMMEDIATELY started to burn. On a scale of 1 to 10 the burning in my nasal cavity was a 10 but that wasn't the worst part! About 1 minute later an INTENSE-INTENSE burning started in the roof of my mouth that was unlike anything I ever felt in my life! On a scale of 1 to 10 it was 100! It was SO BAD I almost starting crying. I sat on my bed wondering how long this torture was going to last. I drank 3 glasses of water which cooled the burning but only while I had a mouthful of water. The second I swallowed the water and my mouth was empty I could feel the burning again. After maybe 10 minutes of sitting there like this my eyes started to water and the burning on the roof of my mouth rose up into my nasal cavity and traveled up into my skull where it caused an immediate headache. It's difficult to describe what I experienced because it was unlike anything else. So this lasted maybe 30 minutes but felt like 30 hours. The burning and pain started to cease and took maybe 1.5 hours to disappear completely. I have no idea which ingredient in this product caused this burning and pain but if you're thinking about purchasing this, PLEASE RESEARCH THE INGREDIENTS because I'm not so sure they should be going up into the human nasal cavity. I'm just thankful it went away and didn't get worse and cause a trip to the emergency room. No regular type nose spray EVER caused me burning or pain so for me I will stick with those plus I installed April Air whole house humidifier in my home and haven't had an allergy attack since! PLEASE BE CAREFUL if you purchase this product! I don't want anyone to suffer the way I did. Even if it was for just an hour, IT WAS REALLY, REALLY BAD!!
