I reviewed many sets carefully, reading the recommendations that were written. I chose this set for a couple of reasons. First, all the parts are the same size. Some of these sets have different sizes included which, for a "young" toddler, can perhaps be frustrating to try and match. I also like that each shape has 4 colors. This is great to learn colors/sorting.And lastly, it is a great toy for fine motor skill building and hand/eye coordination. This simple toy affords a great deal of learning!!!!! I believe it is well worth the price and playing/teaching a toddler will offer many hours of fun while learning!!!! If you have an older toddler, perhaps the different sizes of each shape would be a better choice, but for the younger toddler, this is ideal. My Grandson is will be 16 months when he receives this and I am confident this is a great choice for his age.

These toys are a great addition to any preschool “busy box”. As a mom with multiple kids at home, I’ve been putting together “busy boxes” with coloring pages, quiet toys, and special dolls that is reserved for when I need a quiet block of time. These bolts are great size for my 2 year old’s hands. She likes the puzzle of the shapes and colors only matching each other. It’s a good 15 minutes of distraction and I’m very happy with the quality of construction. No sharp plastic seams and prices are way too large to swallow. Good deal for the busy mom

I bought this particular set because I thought that all of the pieces were the same size; however, each shape is a different width. This means that the "bolts" can be sorted by shape but not by color, which is very disappointing to me. So the blue triangle can be matched with the red, yellow, blue and green triangles, but not the blue square, hexagon, or plus sign. If that doesn't matter to you then the product is made quite well. There is no plastic smell and it feels rather solid; some of the bolts do have little extra bits of plastic on them but not enough to be problematic for matching purposes.

I bought these for a sermon I was doing at church and it had to deal with being connected to the right piece. It worked out wonderful.

These are actually more interesting and challenging than I originally thought when buying them. They actually require matching the color and the shape for the pieces to match. This is even more beneficial for the cognitive development of your little ones, but you will be surprised at how engaged they become after they get the hang of them. My 3 y/o loves these, and I highly recommend them.

Bought as Christmas gift great value but came missing parts making some useless

Good quality, easy off use

I use these in my special education young adult classroom as matching/sorting/ patterns/fine motor skills tasks. The bolts and nuts are a good size for people with difficulty with fine motor skills. The 4 shapes of the tops match the nuts so students know if they have the correct pieces. The items are sturdy but light.

Size is small and many pieces are missing... Not expecting such thing from Amazon .. very disappointed

Good chunky size, making them easier to manipulate. Useful for occupying my twin two year old grandsons when we’re in the car.
