Beautiful story with gorgeous illustrations. My nature loving 3.5 year old wants to read and act it out every day. It would be even better for slightly older.

My son loves owls, and there are very few children's books about owls. He loves this book! Great pictures and educational story!

Like his other terrific books, Bruce puts his love of the outdoors and wildlife to work in making the book both interesting and informative. Read Coyote and Badger, Big Rock, etc. for more great stories.

The book is grubby and has obviously been on a dusty shelf for a while.
