These things are GREAT. They stay on much more securely than the hard plastic ones that chisel sets often some with.The flexibility allows for a nice snug fit on a wide range of chisels. Making it nice for the random collection of chisels that I have gathered over the years. Stanley 750, Marples, James Swan... If using on this mortising chisels you may need to use the size up from the width of the chisel, but it will cover and stay on securely. Many of the hard plastic covers will not even fit mortising chisels, so this is a great way to keep those protected.

These are soft silicone and perfect for the set of Narex chisels I used them on. They fit great and won’t fall off by themselves.I have these chisels hanging on the wall, but the covers probably wouldn’t stay on well if you are the type that throws your chisels into a bag

NICE PROTECTIVE CHISEL GUARDS YOU WON'T LOSE
These seem very sturdy and they protect the edge of the chisel. Also the color is so bright I'm less likely to lose them!
