Great quality, american made. Depends on Cat though
My cat loved these the first time I showed them to him. When I first threw one in the air, it twirled down and he went nuts. He bounced it around, room to room for about 15 minutes and then waited for me to throw again. Generally my boy cat prefers to play with toys I throw so they are only interesting to him if I am involved. I know he plays with the toys at night by himself, I am just not sure which ones; I haven't gotten up to spy on him as of yet.As far as the quality goes: I am not sure if they are all exactly the same but I bought this same product a few months ago and the label said made and assembled in the USA, 100%. Though the design is very simple (yes, feathers stuffed in a wooden ball with puff glued to the end), I have not had it fall apart on me, not even the puff ball fall off. My impression is, this is a great quality toy.I would recommend this product, and have, to my friends. You can't really be certain which toy your cat will respond to but this is something different that your pet could really enjoy.

Kittens love these!
My 4 month old kittens love to play with these kitty kopters. I am sure it is due to the type of feathers that Da Bird uses. As other reviewers have mentioned, the pom pom at the end does not stay on long. I ended up using hot glue to secure it better. They are a bit pricey considering that they don't last as long as other cat toys. My kittens love to chew on the feathers and destroy them. All in all, I would buy again to make my kitties happy.

Expensive Cat Toy
Cons: These are really expensive for what you get. It's a puffball attached to a wood bead with 3 feathers sticking out of it. My cat has had it for one week and the puffball is almost detached and the feathers have started to deteriorate. I'm glad it came in a pack of 3 so I have two more tucked away, but I would still hope they'd last longer for the price.Pro: My almost 2-year-old cat is OBSESSED. If I'm not able to toss it around, he picks it up and throws it himself. He really loves it.

My cats must be very picky
I know that some reviewers say their cats absolutely love these, and I'm sure they do. But for some reason my cats (two male tabby, about 3 years old) aren't impressed. I'm surprised, because they LOVE "Da Bird" pole & feather toy, so I thought for sure this would be a winner. Our results - when we first opened the packages the cats were meowing and excited and pacing for these, but after only a little while they became un-impressed / dis-interested in these. Once in a while we can get them interested in this toy for a few minutes, but only if we're constantly picking it up and throwing it. Even then they lose interest and the toy just sits around neglected until we put it away. The product quality itself - not quite as bad as some decribed, but any cat who plays aggressively is of course going to chew these feathers up and tear them out of the little puff-ball they're attached to. Yes these could be made a little sturdier *considering the price*, but I'd say the construction is about average by comparison to other toys. YMMV.The "propeller effect" - In my experience it's virtually non-existant with these. I expected at least a bit more spin and maybe a couple seconds of hang-time. Nope - throw this up in the air and it drops like a rock.So based on the above product qualities, I have to give it 3 stars for "It's OK". I was tempted to rate it 2 stars, but I'm guessing that some cats will love this. Just not mine.I know this review is not extremely helpful, but it just goes to show that with any cat toy it's a 50/50 chance of being a hit with your feline friends. Even "Da Bird" line of products is not immune to their finicky nature, and no guarantee. We'll definitely stick with the "pole & feather" product though - our boys never get tired of that!

Just adding another "The cats Love these"
This is my 4th purchase in a couple of years of these great cat toys. My big sweet Maine Coon chases them, carries them in her mouth and frequently brings them as a "gift" to me. They are used daily and hold up well.. They twirl when thrown in the air and my MC thinks this is really exciting . I highly recommend these feather, soft end toys to any cat parent who has a fur ball who likes to chase and carry.

My cat is OBSESSED
My cat will not leave this toy alone. When we first gave it to him, he played with it independently for 1.5 hours straight! If we throw it, he chases it without fail, even if we wake him up from a nap! The pompom seems like it might come off soon, but I don't think he'll mind at all. Seems like a great toy!

I have to hide them
So my cat, at the ripe ol age of 12 decided he was indeed a cat and realized cat toys are fun. So much so that in the middle of the night he's acting like he's on the Olympic Badminton team playing with these things. I finally had to hide them from him when we got to bed. He carries them around like a security blanket and often I find them in my bed. Definitely will be keeping these on the rebuy list.
