Quick shipping from Germany with excellent customer service. I remember the excellent bakery store fronts while stationed in Aschaffenburg Germany. Beautiful looking pies, cakes, rolls, breads and these amazing glass looking fruit pies with a cookie like crust. Well the glass look is actually a glaze/gel over the top of the fruit pie called tortenguss. As far as I am aware there are two types Klar which means clear and I am unsure of the name of the red tortenguss glaze/gel. My packets arrived in German, so I found an English translation.Translation: Mix 1 packet with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a pan. Add 250ml of water bit by bit until dissolved. Note: If you use juice from canned fruit add water to dilute. Bring to boil while stirring slowly. Pour over fruit immediately.Once again the supplier of my order shipped my order quick. My order arrived two week quicker than the estimated shipping arrival date. Thanks

I used it for fruitcake and it turned out perfect.Easy to prepare and covers the fruits on the cakeso they not only look good but also stay fresh for a few days on the cake.

Over 50 years ago I lived in Germany and loved the fruit tarts with clear glaze that were a staple of Sunday desserts. I recently acquired a tart pan, and it is peach season, so I was thrilled to be able to quickly get the glaze used in Germany for these treats. I made mine with lemonade (you can use water or fruit juice) and it made a shiny clear glaze that was a tasty addition to the fresh peaches and blueberries in my torte. My 7 year old granddaughter arranged the fruit and was proud of the elegant result. Great stuff; so glad to have found a source. They delivered very quickly.

Just what I needed to make desert.

I use this clear glaze whenever I bake a mandarin pie! It is great! It keeps the mandarins on top of the pie moist! I highly recommend this product!

Haven't actually used it yet - instructions written in German - no English translation. Will eventually figure it out Three packets to the order. Suspect it is the German version of American Gelatin perhaps with some sort of flavor both cooked the same. I use it for flan cake which I've decided to restart making.

I am from Germany and so happy to be able to get it through amazon. (For years my cousin used to send me some in letters) It arrived before the mentioned time frame and would definitely buy it again. Every time I make the Torte for friends they can't believe that I made it. It's the best and so fast and easy to make.
