I really like that these are one-piece, and don't utilize a base that attaches to the receiver dovetail and a ring that attaches to the base. Those other 2-piece designs seem to miss the whole point of having an integrated base in the receiver. Very nicely finished. Finish is gloss. I do wish these were available in a matt finish to complement modern matt-finish scopes.
