Went from 25mb copper to 150mb fibre. Download and upload was faster but, overall lag still there. Loaded ping not a lot better on fibre Vodaphone Power Hub. Plugged in Brume 3, tried a few options, tried SQM and loaded ping now less than idle ping with only a small trim from overall upload and download speed. Lag is noticeably better. Wireguard VPN into Proton works great too, VPN download speeds excellent. I am a complete novice with this stuff, it was easy for me to do. Is it worth £110 to fix latency? For me, yes. Great device. Only after purchasing it did realize how useful and necessary it is in my network. So I had an old micro pc hanging about and I built a VPN server (Linux). Then I bought the brume and WireGuard’ed it to VPN to my home pc. It is brilliant!
