I want to check my A1C more often than every 6 months, so I tried this. I had to stick myself twice to get enough blood but results are quick and it was worth doing. Just realize you’ll need a bandaid and the fingertip is sore for 3 days or so. I did bruise but some of that may be due to me not getting blood out quickly enough.

The kit came via prime so it got to my place asap. You register online before you take the test, super easy. Make sure you read the directions though, in a nutshell take the test on a morning you’re able to send it back out the same day, not on a weekend. They paid for express next day air.You also need to fast the night before. That was more painful than the poke🤬They give you everything you need to poke your finger and a little vial to drop a very small amount of blood in. You can warm your hands or clench your fist a few times to get the circulation circulating. Or if you’re feelin froggy in February, you can do some snow angels in your skivvies.Seal it up and send it. It tests your sugars and cholesterol and you receive a text or email when your bodily fluids arrive at their facility. I sent mine on Tuesday and got a call back from a nurse on Friday to go over all my numbers. She walked me through everything over the phone and was able to answer every question I had.All in all this was super easy and I would recommend this to anyone that can’t get into their doctor or just don’t want to.It does only check your sugars and cholesterol which was all I needed and it was easier and cheaper than going into my primary.

I bought this for my son and it is virtually impossible to get enough blood for this test.Do not waste your money on this! We threw it in the rubbish.

I was able to collect the blood in less than a minute using the tips LetsGetChecked's customer support provided me with. The tube requires a small amount of blood, the bottom half of the tube is just empty space so don't let that discourage you.I sent my sample on Tuesday using their free prepaid express UPS envelope. The next day Wednesday my sample was received in the early morning. That same Wednesday afternoon a lovely Nurse called me to notify me of my results in addition to having them available in my online account. They say results can take 2-5 business days from the time the sample is received at the lab but mine came back much sooner!

I purchased this hoping I could do this test at home and not have to be around people due to the high spread of COVID-19 in my area. The instructions seemed easy enough. I fasted for 8 hours and pricked my finger. Pricking my finger was not painful and was easy to do, but I nearly fainted when I did it. Unfortunately, I had to discontinue the test and will now have to schedule an appointment to get tested in-person. From what I do recall, getting the blood into the tube was a little bit difficult too - the drops did not want to go into the tube. If you have any chance of fainting, I would highly recommend skipping this and going in-person.

I ordered this test, and it came the next day in sealed packaging. The lancet was super easy to use and didnt hurt. The instructions were clear and I heard back within a couple of days. I got an email with the results and they are clearly understandable. A nurse will call you if something abnormal is spotted in the blood work. Really Impressed! Will definitely use them again.

I only gave it a 4 because the lancet was lethal! I understand why but I will go for a normal blood draw next time. My finger was bruised for a solid week and tender. The results were fast and handled professionally.
