The beveled sides makes this ring look anything but "plain". Perfect and comfortable fit that should last a lifetime. Though silver tone, it looks to me to be a touch on the gunmetal side, which I love! I've been careful not to work on anything that will scratch it, so far, but knowing the material I think it's unlikely to be easily damaged. Nor should my finger be harmed by the ring should any misfortune befall me & the ring get crushed while wearing it. This is because unlike steel, Tungsten Carbide will shatter.

The ring comes in a nice high polish finish, making it look like a darkened mirror. I quite like it, and it's a great value for the price. The only minor issue is that it's slightly larger than the size suggested. I got a size 9, but I can hardly tell the difference between this and my other 9.5 size ring. I suppose it's better to be slightly larger than smaller. It bears mentioning that Tungsten is heavy, so if the ring is looser than it should, it's easier to slip out of your finger.

I went with the 6mm version of this Vakki Tungsten Ring and I’m very happy with it. The fit is spot-on because it's true to size and the comfort fit makes it great for wearing all day. I really like the high polish and clean metallic look. As a nice bonus, it came in a soft cloth bag, which made it feel like an even better value.
