My son absolutely loves these! His younger brother has a few pairs of similar shorts with the compression lining and my eldest has been asking for some for himself. I saw these and figured we'd give them a try. The outer shorts are slightly textured and the fabric has a little bit of stretch, making them incredibly comfortable and easy to move around in. We Kayak and paddleboard so being able to move freely is a huge plus! The under shorts, compression short lining, fits close to the skin and really helps to prevent chafing as well as "sand intrusion". Also, there's no uncomfortable elasticand net hugging his personal bits and biting into his skin with these. They fit him true to size, have pockets that are actually usable, they're quick to dry, prevent chafing, look good, and they go to just above his knees. There's literally nothing more we could ask for from these. (Unless they could do housework...I wouldn't complain if they did dishes. Just saying)
