I really like this paper trimmer and I use it for cutting paper as well as some craft items like acetate paper and card stock and it does a great job. It came with extra blades which is a plus. I like it's design and it's very easy to use and comes in a nice color. It's sturdy, made strong and lightweight and being slim and compact makes it easier to tuck away making it a space saver especially with the side ruler being able to fold inward when it's not in use. With all of that, I was very happy with the price. Yes I would recommend this product.

First, the extension arm is NOT square, so your cut will be crooked. Second, the most important measurement (length you are cutting) is hidden behind your paper, instead of up higher (where the angles are labeled) Third, the clear ruler with the cutter has centimeters labeled on both edges, no inches, so it's challenging to cut an exact length if you're working in inches. Maybe ok for a $1 store, but not worth $10.
