No leaks and fits very well on 40oz thermoflask

Perfect. I bought this to replace the lid on my old 16 oz Kleen Kanteen vacuum insulated bottle that had warped and refused to snap shut. This Prurex Spout Lid fits snugly both at the bottle and the spout cap. There are gaskets at both places that make this leak-proof. I checked for leaks by filling the bottle with water and left it on its side and then upside down. No leaks. One thing that catches me by surprise each time is that the spout cap screws into the inside of the spout, so the outside of the spout is smooth. That makes it nice for drinking but you can also think the cap won't seal right. Also, the cap catches a bit on the top of the spout when you flip it up or down. But just push down and twist to screw the cap in place. Once you get used to these quirks all is fine. I don't have this hooked to and banging around on a backpack, so can't comment on the durability under rough conditions. I carry this in my car for coffee stops. The tight seal and small spout means I don't spill coffee on me or all over the car. I have been using this for over 6 months with no problems.

Great lid. It is plastic but durable and keeps water sealed. It is easy to use and I like that the mouth spout is protected from other germs, etc. It is easy to clean and seems to fit a wide variety of bottles. It makes large water bottles easy to transport with useful handle.

This is a great replacement spout lid. It fits the ThermoFlask 40oz bottles perfectly. I think it's better than the ones it comes with.
