I went to Death Valley last week and wanted to read a book that was focused on the area while I was there. We stayed at the Furnace Creek Inn where the story took place. It was really interesting to be reading about real places that I was visiting and staying at! It is a murder mystery and I have to say it was well done. I wasn't sure who the murderer was until towards the end of the book... The book I believe was written in the 1940's so the writing is a bit different but easy to get through. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will look into reading more by this author!
