Far Too Rigid for Me but Effectively Drills Holes!!
This bit is long and rigid, and I was expecting something with more flexibility. It is a great bit that will put holes in wood. But the steel shaft is too rigid to have any use for me as a "flexible" bit.

Broke the first time using it
I use this product once and the bit broke off the shaft. It was not even a hard drill it was soft wood.

Works great for in wall drilling
This drill is awesome! It is great for punching through a firestop in the wall. I had an opening in the sheetrock for a standard outlet, fed this in and down to the firestop and was through and ready to feed the wire. It zips right through 2x4s before you can say flexible and yes, it is flexible.

Stiff as a Board and Too Dull for Pressure-Treated Wood
I honestly had high hopes for the DECKRKAT 54" Flexible Installer Drill Bit, especially since I bought a specific placement tool to go with it, but the reality was incredibly frustrating. The main selling point is that it’s "flexible," but I found it to be incredibly rigid. I tried forcing it to bend, but it was so hard that it barely moved. Even with the aid of the placement tool I purchased separately, I couldn’t get it to navigate corners or obstacles the way flexible drill bits are supposed to. It was more like a standard long drill bit that just happened to be long. On top of the stiffness issue, the bit itself wasn’t sharp enough for the job I needed it for. I was trying to run Ethernet cables behind walls, I have pressure-treated wood under my top plate —a material that is notoriously dense and tough. This bit struggled to even start a hole in it. It wasn’t cutting efficiently, I had to abandon the drill bit at that point. If you’re trying to drill through anything hard like pressure-treated lumber, this bit won't work.

Got the job done.
Amazing product. Would recommend for intended purpose. Has a simple system that keeps it away from the sheetrock.
