This is great BUT you can burn your skin if you don’t know what you’re doing. I’ve had plenty of peels at the dermatologist office so I know the drill. You can do this at home and save a mint. Do not buy it if you’ve never had a professional chemical peel of any kind! This is a medium peel, not a light peel. I’m not going to give the instructions on how to use it properly because as the bad reviews show, people who don’t know what they are doing are going to burn their skin. Go to a pro to learn first! If you want a light peel start with just 10% or 20% glycolic acid standalone.Whether you actually “peel” will depend on many factors. I use Tret .1% already and do not peel with this unless I want to leave it on well past the “it’s starting to burn” stage. But just a quick few minutes give me great exfoliation and doesn’t leave me with my skin flaking off for a week. Do an allergy skin test maybe behind your ear so you can see how your skin reacts if you’ve never used glycolic or lactic peels before. Be smart, people! Threatening legal action because you misuse a product is ridiculous. Take some responsibility to educate yourself and I will repeat a 3rd time do not buy this unless you’ve had previous professional experience with peels.

Not too strong
I was so Concerned after reading the reviews that this was going to burn my face and almost didn't order it because of that. I have not had a peel in about four years and it was TIme. . It was extremely low to no irritation when I left it on about a minute Or so.. I could feel slight tingling ( you want that) after I went over a few age spots two or three times to make sure they were completely covered as I wanted a little more concentration in certain areas. I used a cotton ball to put on the gel ( which gel by far is the best kind) and very easily placed it on . I simply used a cotton ball again to remove the gel with water and used mosturizer after that. Easy! I will update the effectiveness as I plan to use this weekly for a while and plan to increase the application time . Dont be afraid of the reviews saying that it will melt your face off! In a minute or less, theres just no way ! I have NO redness at all and immediately after, my face feels smooth , not tight. it is MUCH milder than professional peels that were kept on longer thaf I had in salons ( intense burning and red blotches) in which made me not want to have them. Remember that you can simply remove the gel at any time, you get to decide , and you should apply a light film to test it first. Wish I had been using this sooner!

Great for the body but probably too strong for a facial peel
I've used this product for approximately 6 weeks. Based upon the other reviews, I knew I'd need to use it a few times before seeing results, so I wanted to wait to give my review. Bottom line: this is a very strong peel, perhaps too strong for sensitive facial skin, but excellent for body skin. As background, I am a fair-skinned black woman with a Zoe Kravitz complection. No serious acne, but at 40, my skin tone was becoming uneven, especially in winter. The first time I used it on my face, I left it on for about 90 seconds because it burned painfully - I did not wait for frosting. When I took it off, patches of my skin immediately began weeping a clear fluid. The next day, I developed very obvious brown scabs that did not fall off for 3 days - not a good look for going outside. My skin after 2 weeks was more even and smooth and residual acne scars (and age spots) appeared to fade slightly. The second and third time, I left the product on for 2 minutes with similar results. One deep cystic pimple on my nose, however, burned pretty badly and has left a scar that has persisted for 4 weeks, though I expect it will eventually fade. My skin is much softer and my complection more even an I found that cocoa butter made the scabs fall off faster.I also used the product on my elbows, which are now much softer and lighter, with no scabbing or pain. And on my arms, to treat some keratosis pilaris - also very effectively with no scabbing or pain. I plan to continue using the product on my body, but the recovery time for my face is too long, and I feel that I could probably see the same results with a lighter chemical exfoliant.

Inconsistent
First time buying boy did it tingle. Couldn’t stand more than a couple minutes! Worked great on an emerging Solar Keratosis! Disappeared completely after just a few treatments. Don’t pick the scab! Tried on a few age spots but learned the darker they are the harder they are to eradicate.Ordered a second bottle bc I used this one in about a year—it stayed strong the whole year at room temp. Put half a dropper full in one palm, rubbed them together and would quickly rub into my freshly shaved leg; repeated other leg. Tingling for a minute, not unpleasant for me, followed up with liquid organic coconut oil. Legs felt super smooth next day. Used on my arms in the same manner although I don’t shave my arms as often. The hair on my arms is light blonde but long-ish so I shave them. Ha! What can I say I like smooooth skin. Anyway it worked great like that so I ran out. Well! Second bottle has a sticky consistency and not NEARLY as strong! Very different from first bottle. Beware!

QRxLabs Glycolic/Lactic Acid 30/20 Gel Peel With Calendula
Excellent. It seemed very strong when I applied it and could only tolerate it for aboutthree minutes which is good because it means I don’t need to leave it on for long.My skin was left refreshed and I noticed fine lines and wrinkles were reduced.

Glycolic/lactic acid 30/20 gel peel
I've used for several months, to get rid of pigmentation, from a treatment I had. It's not worked. It causes spot breakups on my chin every time, so I don't use there anymore. Thought I would finish the bottle. So I could give it a fair review. Its a waste of money, does causes burning sensation but no peeling or after effects, brought it with the neutralizer. To start with I washed of in 2-3 mins because of burning sensation. But last couple of months, been leaving on 20-30 minuts. But makes no difference
