Like list -yay!!- for someone who doesn’t know what she’s doing it’s definitely the right quality/price balance.- goes up, down, left, right, long, short: you just need to learn which knob does what. No biggie- lighting is good: different modes and brightness adjustability- usb plug: worked with iPhone square- not too many parts to assemble - but a manual could come in very handy. Took me a while to put 4 things together. I had to reference to the amazing images. Maybe post steps online? Save trees!!Density - I’m mutual 50/50The phone holder is like a human mouth (excuse the analogy but it’s quite accurate) top part of the mouth does not move, the bottom part (jaw) pulls on a spring. If the phones too big, it may not hold - like trying to bite something that’s to big for the mouth lolI have a 7, so it’s holds fine but because the tripod is light (aluminum?) the front feels heavy if I put a case. Almost like it’s going to fall forward. So Maybe no caseHope this helps!

There's nothing per se wrong with this light. I like that you can control the color temperature. The tripod is good for table top use, and I've actually got a different light mounted on it right now.I know ring lights are the cool thing right now, but just know that this will leave a cheerio shaped reflection on your glasses, if you wear them. You may like that, if you want everyone to know that you're one of the cool kids with a ring light, but I found the reflection distracting. I went with a box light with a diffuser instead. I'm keeping the ring light because it may be useful in my little Zoom "studio" some time.

I thought it was a little wacky to put together, and was appreciative of the video another user posted. I’m usually good at this kind of thing, but this was not intuitive. It works fine, the light is good. Positioning the phone can be a little awkward. Larger phone (iPhone8plus) weight makes it a little tricky To get it to stay where you want it. But it does work. Just keep in mind that if you already have a hard time with assembly, this will make you nuts. Definitely use the video. The Instructions are useless.

When I first opened the box, I thought there was a lot of parts! But when I laid it all out I realized it wasn't as complicated as my first impression. The tripod comes with its own little pouch bag. The ring lamp is kind of neat in that it's adjustable in hue between several color tones and intensity. It's USB-powered, so you have to use a phone charger adapter or a USB power brick for it, you can't plug it into the wall directly. It's very lightweight, so not a burden to carry around. I kind of wish the lamp came with its own bag for storage bag to keep it nice and dust free between uses. The attachments for the light and your phone to the tripod seemed a little complex at first because the instructions aren't extremely clear, but one of the other reviewers had posted an excellent how-to video that shows you step by step that makes it easy to do. All in all, a pretty good setup.

It's a simple product that works for what I need it for. A little finicky has an adjustable light about 2 ft tall and requires an external battery source to power through USB. For not costing too much is definitely the price. Good for short-term or small projects. I have been using it to photograph food for my meal prep business. Definitely works better than the light and flash provided on the camera.

So, instead of hiring a professional photographer (that will cost me $1000 up), I look for a ring light to enhance the picture quality of the product that I am selling.While searching I found this product and read all the reviews and I gave it a try.And the reviewers are not lying!It’s very easy to operate, even without reading the manual.It’s not too small but not to bulky, it can fit in your bags, you can bring it anywhere you want.You can also have to change the lights (brighter/dimmer).Also, I gave it 4* bc the delivery service wasn’t great! Amazon, emailed me that the delivery service (lasership) tried to deliver but wasn’t around so I have to call them. And when I called them the agents are very rude!And when I received the items, it was opened already!

The media could not be loaded.  Love this item but it breaks easily. I have had to replace the phone holder 2 times.

I like this little light. It works well and has simple parts. There were no instructions, so that was weird, but it was simple once I found online instructions. The only thing I don't like is that it has to be actively plugged into a USB power source to work. But, overall, It's a great light for the price.

The best thing about it was the ring light. Has different brightness/ colour temperature adjustments. However the product itself is really cheaply made, and I want to return. The spring where you attach your phone came off the second day using.
