can it be grown in ground in zone 5?

I live in zone 10. It does great. But mulberry is indigenous to zone 5,6 so you should be fine.

I have not received my plant and l would like you to refund my money. Please refund my money because l think if the plant ever get here it will be dead since I should be here 4 days ago. It is setting dying some where. I have being Ching on it everyday on the tracking rout .and show it will be at my home March 21.

It says it will become a bush when planted in the ground. I was hoping for an actual tree - can this grow into a tree?

I planted two in the ground. Both grew very fast into very tall 20 foot trees. I prune them down every year or they would grow taller. If you allow all the side shoots to grow, you could prune it into a bush, but not likely. It goes mostly from a main trunk into a very tall and fruitful trees. I have canned a lot of mulberry jam, which everyone loves. And it makes great pies and fruit leathers. It is a very fast growing and prolific TREE!

I just got my little trees, do I keep them indoors over the winter ?

I would. I got mine late spring and I potted it and left it on my porch. I will plant it in the ground next spring.
