Topzone 4 inch 2.5mm Stereo "Y" Cable: 2.5mm Stereo Plug to two 2.5mm Jacks

I needed to extend my Harmony hub IR eyes to cover some blind spots, and surprisingly there are not many Y-split cable with a 2.5mm male to two 2.5mm females out there. This one fit the bill, and works perfectly. Since I am not using this for audio, I cannot comment on quality of connectors or longevity, but for my application it should last forever. I only wish they had a black version, so it wouldn’t show through my glass cabinet.

Out of the box connection issue. One of the wires must be B/O. It is very staticky. Works when bent in certain direction.

Amazing I got 2 because they are cheap I haven't tried them out yet but they will work for what I need.

Does what it is supposed to do

I use this as a splitter for my 2.5mm lanc port on my Sony FS5, allows me to use both the grip handle a traditional lanc zoom rocker.

This was a perfect solution to a problem I had with a plantronics headset that needed to plug into an AT&T cordless phone handset. What I learned was that although they are all 2.5mm around, some are longer or shorter....this can cause the headset to not plug in all the way & produce annoying static. This adapter is compatible with both & allows all to fit and work perfectly.*** Update....my perfect solution failed after a month. The plug broke off in my cordless phone jack and made it useless. I tried getting it out, but to no avail. AT&T refused to ship me another cordless handset because they said it was damaged by me. Wouldn't recommend the frustration.

I used this "Y" cable to connect two IR "blasters" to a single blaster output jack on a Logitech Harmony Hub. Although the hub and blasters are designed for a mono plug and jack, this stereo "Y" splitter works perfectly. The plug and jacks of this splitter provide for a very snug fit which is unlikely to easily detach. Make sure this splitter's plug, and plugs inserted into this splitter's jacks, are fully inserted in order to obtain the required connection. Some negative reviews claiming this splitter provides a loose or poor connection may simply be the result of plugs not having been fully inserted into the jacks.
