Sound is alright, and I like the volume control knob. Easy connect.
The sound is alright for what it is, but not awesome, compared to one other speaker I tried. I like the volume control knob vs. the touch controls of others. I have no use for the light show fluff, but it can easily be turned off. Almost forgot to mention that it worked immediately after connecting it to a USB port. Have not tried the Bluetooth connection.

Great Monitor speaker, but.....
I am giving this product 3 stars because it is always cutting out to say USB Mode.I really enjoy the sound quality. It does a great job as a monitor. Good full range. Great for audio books.I am plugged into my ThinkPad docking station. I have tried two different USB ports and the USB-C connection.The interruptions are really annoying to me.I have not seen this on any of the reviews, but I have also not found a meaningful contact for support.If I could figure out how to stop the interruptions I would give it 5 stars.Any feedback appreciated.

Solid speaker at a great price point.
So much better than I expected. Look this isn't going to be Bose level, but for the price and stacked up against others in the same price category this speaker has a fuller rich sound. No crackling & doesn't sound tinny and weak. I already bought and regretted 2 other speakers until I found this for about the same amount. Also, looks sharp on my desk too. I don't use the lights, but they look cool and work great.

there are cheaper, better speakers.
the buttons for the lights and power fell out on the first day. It was such a weak adhesive on the button that I had to continuously press it back on if I turned the speaker upside down. cheaply made, not really loud. mine is somewhere in a landfill as I write this. also, the bluetooth option wouldn't connect for about 3 days. Only had the option to plug and listen ... weird

Great sound, appealing light-changing optics!
It took me a few tries, but this version was so simple to connect with my laptop. Two other options required an additional female connector that I did not have. I'm really pleased with this system. Just seeing it lit up makes me happy!

Does what it needs to
You get what you pay for. It's a cheat USB Speaker. The sound quality is cheap and bad, but it's visually appealing and thus far works as intended. I wouldn't pay to replace this but for what it is I'm not mad, just not overly happy with it.
