Great Winch for Off-Roaders!
I have this winch mounted on my KRX 1000 and I must say that it preforms very well. It is very powerful and the spool lock mechanism works with ease! Highly recommend!

Genuine Warn winch at a great price.
Its Warn so I have full faith it'll be a long lasting reliable winch. It arrived fast and at the time I bought it the price was well below what I found on Warn's website. Lowest price I could find anywhere so A++ for that. Also in case any of you are looking at this for a Kawasaki KRX 1000 like I was, I DO NOT recommend trying to put it in the factory recommended location down in front of the differential. I saw pictures of someone with it down there online, but I have no idea how they got it in there. This thing is a chunky boi and I could not get it even close to fitting. I ended up getting a HMF Defender series bumper with the winch mount and would highly recommend mounting it that way for any fellow KRX owners. Plus that lets you show this great looking winch off.

First winch. Glad I bought this.
I bought this to put on my small tractor (roughly 3000# GVW) to help me if I got stuck and for some light pulling when doing tree work. So far it's been perfect but I haven't gotten stuck yet. It took a bit of work and some matching accessories (all available here) to make this into a receiver mounted winch that can run off either end of my tractor. The main wiring was easy to modify. I removed the panel mounted rocker switch section from the harness because all I needed was the remote. I put the remote connector on a bracket I made and attached to the receiver mount base plate with a couple of small bolts. The winch, receiver mount, and short power cable with QD's weighs in at 46 lbs. Easily manageable. Vey pleased. And an excellent price here.

Check for all hardware before you start
Great quality but warn has always been top of the line. Although I was disappointed to find when I went to install the winch there was no mounting hardware I had to go buy bolts to mount the winch.

More power than you’ll need and easy to install
Simple to install. The integrated contactor made wiring super easy. Bolted right on to the stock Highlifter bumper, no mounting plate needed. It’s already pulled me right out of two situations where I was buried to the belly pan without the power indicated going to yellow. Two thumbs up and highly recommended.

Warning, it will leave you stranded
This is the the third warn winch I have owned every single one has broken . I had the 35s on my Polaris rzr it broke so I went to the 45s , it broke. Last but not least I went all out with the 55s …..it broke the very first time I used it! Hopefully people actually read these reviews. This winch left me stranded 8 miles off road in the middle of no where, super long night till I was finally rescued.

Great winch, except no wireless remote available.
Installed the Axon 55-S on a John Deere Gator / 825i, replacing a 9 year old Chinese made winch that wore out. Very impressed with fit and finish, overall quality and how easily the free spooling knob turned. Plus, at least it is a USA company, and the winch is supposedly made in the US. Did not have any missing parts, and it did come with the mounting hardware. Also bolted right up to the old mounting plate from the previous winch. The only negative is that there is no wireless remote for it, at least not yet, maybe in the future is what Warn told me. Strange considering they have wireless remotes for most of their other lines of winches. Considering you can get a wireless remote with $200 to $300 Chinese winches, there is no excuse not to have one for a $700+ Warn winch.
