2 failed, one with smoke.
I purchased two of these from Amazon. The first one failed within a couple of minutes, no light from the laser. The second one failed after operating about 5 minutes, and began smoking. It seems like a possible fire hazard. Not recommended.

The plug ends don't match our American made plugs they are round and wider

Check the adaptor plug before purchasing...
FYI, the adaptor was for foreign countries, it had round receptacles, not flat ones on the electric plug like pictured on the ad.
