Exploring Leadership: For College Students Who Want to Make a Difference

Leadership can sometimes drag on and be a boring subject to talk about. In this book, Komives puts simple ideas and big text together to make reading though the textbook quite easy. While some of the idea's are off-base and definitely need some work (I am looking at you MBTI 2.0), there are also many great theories that can be expaned upon for great discussion. Normal classes consisted of reading the book as homework and discussing how we could apply these theories in everyday life.I am not saying this is the solution for future leaders, but food for thought still filled the appetite.

Supplemental book for a class but I also enjoyed reading this.

I rented this book, and it came in within a reasonable time frame. As for the content of the book, I enjoyed reading it, even though it was assigned reading for a past Leadership Theory class. Pretty quality material! The chapters seem long, but that is just because it is very large print.

Rented the book at first for class and liked it so much that I bought it. It's just something good to have for any time you may need a little motivation or help with understanding being a leader.

It came in perfect condition! This book is wonderful, and great to highlight in. The texture of the pages are perfect for writing in it as well. It also comes with a free access code that is $10 without the book, so I’m reality I only payed around 34 for a NEW college textbook! (:

This textbook on leadership is extremely helpful and detailed, there is so much information in each chapter it is a good idea to have a notepad nearby to regurgitate the information presented. Great book!

Even though the condition may say its brand new the code will not be in the book. So if you need the code do not buy the book in new condition. This happen to me and I do not want anybody else to be caught by superise.

Great book, easy to read and has larger print than normal. Didn't notice it for a while, but finally did when my eyes wern't getting as fatigued. Also has great research content, but its still interesting, much more that Northhouse's similar book. Can't go wrong with a textbook that make Starwars references! :)

A very basic introduction on leadership with nothing new or exciting in it.
