Comprehensive and informative. However, it overlooks the smaller innovative shops responsible for instance the velvet slacks phenomenon, metallic leather etc, and especially the Shepherd's Bush bootmakers. Maybe this needs a separate treatment. Even so, recommended. Pic is a plastic belt from a King's Road shop circa 1970.

Strikes just the right balance between needed text and period photos and illustrations, including the great London area map from Rave magazine. Beautiful and durable hard-cover binding.
