Great product. Great price!
Works as it's supposed to, wish I had bought this before buying different cables to hook up my external speakers. Turned out my computer's headphone jack doesn't work.

Its just Plug in, Restart and Play! It saved my computer from the recycler!
I have an HP Envy x360 laptop computer. It was working fine until AVG Updater installed an audio update. After the update the sound card no longer worked. AVG couldn't restore it, HP couldn't either and the computer was indicating that the sound card was no longer recognized and wasn't working. The drivers were reinstalled repeatedly. The sound card is part of the mother board so the computer which worked fine but no audio was headed for the trash. I tried to find a sound card replacement on Amazon. there were none. I stumbled on this device and bought it. Plugged it into a USB port and it immediately worked! I use 3.5mm earbuds and the sound is perfect! A speaker would probably need to be attached the same way and would sound light years better than the computer speakers anyway. I can't recommend this enough! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

AUDIO DOES NOT WORK IN RIGHT EAR
Everything about the product is good on the surface, the dial is very tactile, etc. But IT DOESNT WORK. I have to constantly replug in my headphones to get audio out the right ear. It has become infuriating. And the success rate of replugging it in has been becoming less and less. This product should not be this highly rated. It does not function.

Not bad. Close to good, but far from excellent
It works as intended. Plug and play. Windows immediately switches audio channel.I am comparing this device to 3 other audio output devices :1. Onboard sound of the Asus Prime Z490-A2. Soundblaster Audigy Fx Pcie sound card.3. A topping DacThis device is comparable sound wise as the mother board sound of the Asus Z490. Possibly a hint better. It is not as good as the soundblaster Pcie card sound quality. It comes nowhere close to the Topping DAC.The volume on maximum is not excessively loud and crisp. The sound card gets much louder, and the quality is better. The equalizer function on this device does not add any value. It would be better to use a windows based software synthesizer. The USB ports work well with mouse and keyboard.I have three different headsets :1. The Hyper X Cloud for Gaming2. The V-Moda Crossfade (Which are quite possibly the best headphones on the market).3. Cheaper panasonic earbudsThis Phoinikas gadget is practical because it does away with the problem of having short headset cords. If your PC is on the floor (mine is), this gadget works as an extension device to your headset mouse and keyboard.I can imagine this gadget being very valuable if you have a laptop with inferior sound. However for a premium PC build I cannot recommend this over a sound card. This gadget should be considered as a pre-amplifier and not a sound card.Update 09/5Cannot get the mic to work, tried different headsets.11/30Bought this unit again hoping it would work. The Mic does not work. Tried it on 2 different windows pc's

Mic input Jack Works
Finally got the microphone analog input jack to function, almost frustrated to the point of returning the product mainly because analog mic input was one of the features i liked most about this tech, so with one last effort went to get simple low voltage lapel mic with some adapters, and just by chance saw another mic hanging next to lapel mic, the (The Bower HD Microphone Kit), it wasn't that expensive either so, decided to buy it to test the port with also, not knowing it came with a small (CR2, 3V Battery). The lapel mic ( which was also Bower) did not seem to function or respond, the end of the lapel mic is TRRS. If you notice, in the picture, the PHOINIKAS analog mic input is supposed to be TRS, So I assumed that was why it didn't work and I did not have TRRS to TRS adapter at the time to check. So i moved on to the Bower HD Microphone, It also has a TRRS connection. When the selector switch was on phone the power indicator light was off and i got no function or response, but lone behold when i moved the selector switch to camera(REFER TO PICTURE) the power indicator light came on and analog mic function/ response was FINALLY !!! visable on the sound meter in Sound/ Sound Control Panel/ Recording Tab and was also coming through speakers and headphones out of my computer and the PHOINIKAS and sounded pretty good too! (Conclusion: microphone needs to be powered for the analog mic input on the PHOINIKAS T10 External Sound Card to function. (ALSO IMPORTANT - The Bower HD Mic has a TRRS Connection, The PHOINIKAS analog mic input calls for TRS, changing the selector switch on The Bower HD Mic from phone to camera my also change output type/connection. - For Example: phone=(TTRS) Camera=(TRS). Because i haven't been able to find data sheet yet on The Bower HD Mic, I can not say whether this functionality is occuring.) Most likely PHOINIKAS analog mic input needs a powered TRS connection. Once again the battery that came with Bower HD Mic was a CR2, 3V.------ Next Test is portable smartrig w/ 48v phantom power with RTS connection, will post results.
