The main reason for choosing this one
I got this for my video security system. I used to own a security system engineering company and I’ve bought countless monitors. I’m a certified broadcast video engineer as well and I haven’t blinked at times at paying ten thousand bucks for a monitor. Without spending hours explaining why let’s just say that they are not the same as your home TV.Or are they – I just bought a new giant screen TV for my house and when I saw the video quality on it my jaw literally, and physically, dropped. Okay so what’s all that got to do with this little 80 buck utility monitor. Well first off I wanted to establish that I know a little more than average about monitors and second this was another instance in which my jaw dropped a little. I’ve bought a lot of little displays like this, mostly Chinese made, and usually their quality can’t even be considered marginal, some are truly junk, and some go for more than this one does.Sure this is a no name product and if it goes belly up I’m sure it won’t be worth fixing. But somehow I don’t expect that. This is no toy, it has an immediate feeling of quality about it, thicker than those little things they sells as rear view monitors for RV’s and far many more inputs and controls. As a matter of face I really couldn’t believe how they pretty much covered every possible option as far as connectivity. It has built in audio which is better than expected, but what really impresses is the picture quality. The first thing I did was connect it directly to a 4K camera and without even touching any of the controls the image quality nearly knocked my socks off. And I don’t care who you are that’s the absolute number one reason to buy a monitor. The monitor comes with a full contingent of accessories including an HDMI cable, BNC cable, external power transformer, good documentation and a very useful multi purpose weighted base that can be placed on a table or desk, or directly mounted to a wall or under a cabinet. The base has many adjustment possibilities with the only little problem bring if you like the monitor to be mounted low it’s impossible to get your fingers into the control panel on the bottom of the bezel.Very appreciated by me is that there are standard 75 x 75 VESA pattern mounting holes on the back. It’s not easy to find a super thin wall hugger mount for a display this small but I did find one from VIVO, the VAD-2 for under twelve bucks that lets me snap my monitor on the bracket mounted to the wall next to my entrance door and unclip it in an instants if I need to. The spring clip release is strong enough that I have no fear that the monitor might get accidentally bumped off the mount. No one including me can tell you that this monitor is better or worse than the dozens of other similar brands listed here but in my research I feel confident that there probably isn’t any one of them better than this for the price.Electronics like this, especially in the low price range, may last for years or may fail in a week, that’s the tradeoff for buying bargains. In my opinion that does not make them a bad product, the same thing can happen with the more expensive established brand names. I would rather not dwell on that but focus on how professional it feels for the price and absolutely on how good the video quality is. I like it.

It's ok but overpriced.
It's a ok monitor but kind of cheaply made. Not worth the price and there are better monitors for the price.

Dead 8 months later.
Display screen now dead after 8 months of working well. Power supply checks OK at 12 volts. Another good 12v power supply does not make it work. Failed. Warranted for 12 moths, but can't find where too send it. The units are out of stock now anyway.

Versatile Monitor with choice of inputs
I like the TPEKKA HDMI CCTV MONITOR for its versatile mounting and signal input options. This is a VGA 10.1” HDMI Color Monitor. It has built in speakers and Earphone jack. It is a 16:9 unit with internal switching for 4:3, Auto, and two Zoom settings. There is NO built in camera for teleconference. Manufacturer specifications are screen brightness of 350 cd/m^2 and screen contrast of 800:1.I have tested its versatility two different ways. First integrated into a Security Monitor system. Used HDMI cable for connection and a stable picture appeared almost immediately. The mounting options allowed me to use either on the suppled stand or hanging over the monitor electronics. I used it also with a PC computer running Windows Pro. I used the supplied HDMI cable and there were no interface issues. The picture quality was crisp, bright, clear and with good color in both applications.Power is provided with a SUPPLIED DC 12 volt adapter power supply that connects to standard wall AC plug. VIDEO Inputs are VGA, HDMI, AV1, USB and BNC. There is a MIC input. There is a metal stand with an interface connector for mounting in a slot on monitor back. The interface Is articulated which allows the monitor to adjust to different viewing angles. A soft rubber pad with a sticker surface on one side is provided for the stand base. A good value in my opinion.Recommended Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ StarThank you for looking at my review. If you found this review valuable please click on the Helpful Icon. Thanks 😊

Nice multi-use monitor
Monitor has good picture quality. Tested it with an HDMI connection. I will be using it with my 3 camera security system. Didn't realize it does not come with a remote.
