This product did not disappoint. I highly recommend getting this. No complaints.

We let our 12-pound terrier mix free feed on dry food during the day but every evening we give her one container of this food. We mix it with a bit of water to create a little more gravy and she GOBBLES it up. It has not caused her any type of intestinal distress, her poops remained the same as before we started serving her this food, and she genuinely looks forward to dinner time, which is an accomplishment since she previously was not eating enough.BTW, One of our cats loves the flavor of the gravy and it was a battle to between the two to keep their head in the bowl longest and get the most juice. We resorted to putting a tiny bit in a separate bowl for the cat so the poor dog can eat in peace!

My dog enjoys these with having the dry food if he wants that too!

It's his favorite food and really easy to open and give just like that. Looks like good ingredients.

My dog needs to take medication and she quickly learned to be suspect of the peanut butter treat and eat around the pill. I began breaking open the capsules to put the contents on her food, but it wouldn't exactly mix with dry food. I used one quarter of one of these small containers, mixed with her dry food, and she clearly loves it. I ordered the lamb flavor, and received the beef, but it was fine. She likes that flavor too. Since my dog is small and I'm mixing with dry food, it lasts a long time, making it an affordable treat. Glad I found this.

The lamb and green beans with basil variety of Nutro Ultra garnered mixed "reviews" from our dogs, despite this being a "premium" dog food.Our pit bull Nolan, who will eat most anything voraciously, loved this food and scarfed it down as he does most things...then broke wind for most of the night. In fairness, a number of canned food brands cause him to have this gas problem, and Nutro Ultra appeared to be one of them.Our overweight, elderly beagle Todd, who always greets any new thing with skepticism, eyeballed the food before tentatively taking a bite. He then gobbled up the rest of it, with no later gas issues.Our nervous mutt Calvin sniffed the food but would not touch it. He tends to be the most finicky of the group.While our boys did not universally love the food, it did appear to be of very high quality, with ingredients that were readily identifiable just by looking. Unlike some canned foods, this one did not have a nasty odor, but I try not to smell wet dog food as a rule, due to bad past experiences. Like other reviewers have noted, the containers were somewhat difficult to open due to my wrist pain from carpal tunnel issues. I also agree with other reviewers who find the cost of Nutro Ultra to be too high; the current 50% off coupon makes the food affordable, but the coupon only works for the first order, and who knows how long the discount offer will be around.If you can afford it, I recommend introducing your dog to this premium food. If not, there are more affordable, wholesome options available.

It is very good, even with dogs with weak immunity. I highly recommend!
