3M 3M-M-005-R-2 Scotch Brite Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop, Green

I use this mop for so much more than hardwood floors. I use it to wash my ceilings, walls, tile and slate floors. I use it to clean the inside of my cupboards when I can't reach the back. I use it as a dry dust mop to pick animal hair etc. off the floors especially under furniture etc. As for the covers this review is about, they are very nice, last a long time and easy to clean. I keep extra ones on hand. Excellent product.

To mop the floor,very clean

I got serious about taking better care of my oak kitchen floor after refinishing it to better-than-new condition, and already having a (long unused) Scotch-brite mop looked around for some refills. Note that the product reviewed is a pair of microfiber refills for the Scotch-brite mop - the mop itself is not included. The refills are easy to change and can be used dry, or moistened with water or a hardwood floor cleaning solution like Bona. It should NOT be used with floor cleaning products that leave a coating. The large microfiber surface is good at picking up dust and debris from floors, and the head swivels making it easy to maneuver around table legs, etc. I would not use it to clean up spills. The refills are washable, but if they have picked up a large amount of dust and debris you may want to remove most of that by hand before tossing them in the wash with your clothes. The microfiber hangs on tight to some of the dust making hand cleaning a bit of a nuisance.

It’s very practical and functional! It gets moldy very quickly thou if not washed and dried just after use.

I have used this mop for years. The size is great and covers a large area. More importantly the pads fit well and are easy to wash and dry. I just purchased two more to have as back up. Recommend washing the pads frequently. However, this is determined by how often you use the mop and how much traffic you have. You can easily see the dirt and grime on the pad which is great since you can easily see when it should be washed. The pads are soft and applies cleaner evenly without streaking Love it!!
