Microscope Stain Set - Methylene Blue and Gram's Iodine

The stain set worked great. My students used the stains to make their own slides. The stain set was packaged very well. None of the product leaked during transport. I would by this product again. The price was also very reasonable.

I bought these stains for some basic histology staining. The reagents seem good, although the eye dropper isn't as precise as a micropipette. If you are playing around with your microscope in your home, these stains will come in handy.

The bottles were smaller than I expected them to be.Part of gift package. My Great -nephew seems to be happy with the whole package of microscope "stuff"

It worked well for me, a person who has never used microscope stain before. It was effective as well.

These are awesome basic stains. Methylene blue is perfect for mammal cells as well as most bacteria, while the iodine is awesome for many plant cells that are resistant to the methylene. I would recommend going for a gram staining kit in addition to this.

OMG! It totally stains stuff I put on my slides! Sometimes cells can be ghostly clear, this brings those elusive dudes back to the visible realm!

I like to examine various things found in my yard. I use this stain for very thin slices/ Then under the microscope they go. I recommend this stain as it is easy to apply and reasonably priced.
