Reasonable toaster, nice finish.

Quick delivery,reasonable packing and looks good and toasts evenly without burning. Cable stiff and a bit short (68cms) and exits on the right side,level of toasting indicator VERY POOR-whoever thought a black groove on a black knob was a good idea? In use I have noticed that the sides and particularly the ends get pretty hot-not sure what that will do to the plastics associated with the toasting control?*****5 stars to Amazon who delivered the replacement toaster within 3 days. General impression-functions well,looks good,easy to clean but why ruin a decent toaster with a hard to see browning control?--external heat escape make me feel that this will not be a toaster that lasts for years but nevertheless a reasonable toaster at a very good price (£16)

Nice looking toaster and very well packed so arrived in mint condition. A little disappointed that despite the 'technology', it does not toast evenly as one side of the toast is exactly what I wanted but the other side is much less browned. It is certainly much better than the one it is replacing and apart from that one observation I am very pleased with it. The extra features of being able to lift the toast to check it's colour and the reheat feature are very good. I would recommend this toaster and hope it lasts for a long time, unlike others I have bought

Well the box was perfect which is always a good sign. Brushed steel looks great but be warned this gets VERY hot, so be careful with young kids around. Toasts really evenly all over for a perfect toast, be sure to use the toaster a couple of times WITHOUT anything in it just to prime the elements and burn off any oil from the production line. This will smell a bit, but it's totally natural. To pop the toast up early the button is actually on the end of the knob that you turn to adjust the browning time (this confused me till I found it), just press it in and it ejects the toast. For frozen bread there's a button you can press which basically adds around 30 seconds to the timer to allow for the defrost, so you don't have to adjust the knob. The reheat button also works well, I'm sure we've all put some toast on and then been distracted by something, so this is a nice touch. I like my toast close to burnt and setting 4 achieves this nicely. I would personally leave the sticker on the toaster (picture of a toasted slice of bread) as I tried to remove it and it started to tear, so it will leave a mess. All in all for £24 you can't go wrong. Ps,,,,, be sure to register your warranty on line, this will give you an extra 1 year warranty, so that gives you a 3 year warranty!! Which is excellent. Great buy for my marmite on toast!

This toaster is very short. It doesn’t fit bread from a normal sliced pan. I wish I’d read the description fully.
