Trophy Ridge React 5 Pin Bow Sight

4 1/2 StarsPROS:I have been shooting bows and bow hunting for 30 years. I do not have the greatest eyesight, so seeing 50 yrds and making hyper-fine adjustments is pretty much out of the question. Now there is no need! I am hitting center 4" groups at 50 yrds.I have tried MANY sights over the years and I have to say this was the easiest and best sight I have ever used. I was VERY skeptical when I purchased this sight. I honestly did NOT believe it would work, or if it did, it would not work well. My thinking was, how could it work for ALL bows and all speeds. Well, It does!!This was the 3rd Trophy Ridge (smart pin technology) sight I have purchased and all 3 work as advertised.Bows used: Bowtech Destroyer 350 74lbs/ Bowtech Destroyer 350 70lbs and a Bowtech Diamond (38lbs)So it works from the slow speeds of a 38lb bow to the 347 fps of my hunting arrows coming out of my Destroyer.Oh, and you want Bright? Ya, it is very bright with the battery pack!!! Note: It does come with a "battery pack" on the side, to light the pens so if you hunt in Idaho, you have to make sure to remove this to be legal.Added Bonus, you can make micro adjustments to the sight and you do NOT NEED tools !!! Really! How cool is that! Once you put it on, you do not need any tools to make adjustments.CONS: Without the battery pack, and it is illegal to have it on the sight in Idaho while hunting, it is not as bright as many other sights. It could use more fiber optic wrap around the sight housing to gather ambient light. They rely way too much on the battery to light their pins in low light. -1/2 * for the fact it could be brighter.OVERALL: This is a great sight and probably the easiest sight to "sight-in" I have ever used. The smart pin technology really does work! This in itself made it amazing. In low light situations, without the battery pack, they are usable, but not "bright". So if you hunt in states where batteries are illegal it could be an issue in LOW LIGHT. This could have been solved with more fiber-optic cable wrapping around the housing. For being priced near $150, they should have more fiber optic.4 1/2 STARS

You set the top pin and one other pin and all the other sights are set for the other distance. So you set the top for 20 yards by moving the entire housing around (that's the only way the top pin can move), then set the 40 yard pin (any other pin will do but if you set the 30 the margin of error is larger, ideally you would set the 60 but I'm not that good) by turning the up/down knob and the 30, 50, and 60 yard pins move the correct distances apart. It took me a while to set the 20 just right over and only about 20 minutes to get the 40 set but after that I went right to the 3D range and put 3 into a "deer" at 60 yards, 2 were even killing shots.A better shooter could sight it in my quicker but I have a hard time determining if misses were because the sight is off or if it's just me.For me, I still wouldn't take a poke at a deer past 15-20 yards but it's nice to know they are set. I hated having all the other pins just sitting in a pile at the bottom of the ring.I like that it's tool less as well and has versatile mounts. The only thing i would change is; I would add a vibration dampener. Not because it vibrates but... why not?

**UPDATE**After 5 years of use the finish of the sight became tacky and sticky. I called my local bow shop and they told me it was time to replace it. I told the guy there's nothing wrong with how the sight works but the finish became tacky and sticky. He told me to use denatured alcohol and a stiff brush to restore the finish. SMH.The four pin Trophy Ridge sight that came with my Bear Cruzer RTH bow has a finish that is anodized aluminium which doesn't deteriorate after time. Since my purchase was five years ago I am outside the window for exchange/refund.Luckily I saved the original TR four pin sight that I just put back on the bow. I'll contact Bear Archery to see if they can make good on this sight.In the meantime stay away from surfaces that end up becoming sticky and tacky. There's enough lint on the sight to make a whole new rag.I bought this to replace the OEM sight on my Bear Cruzer ready to hunt bow. This sight offers more versatility than the original sight. When you adjust for a given distance the remaining stances are automatically adjusted.

The React sight is awesome once you get it sighted in. There are a few gotchas on this product. The sight diameter is huge which is great but causes the need to switch out the peep sight. I had to switch out mine with a 1/4" peep.The instructions are not very defined. They list it as mount and sight. I highly recommend measuring your current distance from the bottom of your bow to the 20 yard pin,then the distance from your actual pin to the string. This will save you major time in mounting it properly the first time.I did not do this at first and spent hours using the different mounting holes, then having to flip over the bracket and start all over again.I will say the tool less design is nice in the field. I took this to a range that had multiple courses of 3D targets. Once I had my 20 and 30 pin set I can attest the 40 yard and up is set as well.I would say overall I shot about 100 arrows to get it sighted in. muy buena fácil de calibrar la mejor mira que eh comprado hasta la fecha. se distingue perfectamente los pins con su fibra óptica , es fácil de instalar solo recomiendo que vean algún video de YouTube para que entiendan mas rápido la instalación.

Bought this to replace the stock sight on my PSE Stinger X, as I was sick of mucking around for hours with individual pins. Installation and setup was quick and straightforward, very impressed with the toolless adjustments. Pins are very bright, even without turning on the rheostat. My only slight gripe would be the lack of a proper manual, either printed or downloadable. The included mini DVD apparently covers everything, but that's not very useful in the field.

After looking at dozens of sights for my bow I decided that I wanted the Trophy Ridge React 5 pin sight but I didn't want to spend $180+ for it. Well as luck would have it, I found it on sale for $130 so I ordered it right away. It arrived in just a few days and I installed it on my bow. I'm impressed by the quality and fit of the sight / components. I expect that this sight will help me reach out and become a better archer.

It was heavier that the cheap plastic sight my bow came with but it works great. It was a no-brainer once I had sighted in the first two pins. The rheostat light is great but I find I don't usually need it because the visibility is so good.

Sight is very bright, light is nice though i doubt i'll use it. React system is great, sighted in at 20/30 and I was hammering the 60 target in no time.
