This was the perfect remote to operate my Sony camcorder. I record my hunts and needed a control thast was silent and would turn my camera on/off without spooking the game without alerting then=m thrtough movement. I woul;d highly recommend this remote especially if you need a convenient way to operate your camera discreetly.

Stopped working after 5 months
This is the 2nd time we ordered this item. First time we were able to use it for about 1 year and a half before something in the circuit burnt. Decided to give it a second chance since it's the only product online compatible with our device. The second item we were only able to use for less than 5 months before the receiver stopped working. This is really frustrating.
