Fine Molds 1/48 Stars Wars X-Wing Fighter

Great little model kit. The emphasis here is on the "little". It's 1/48 scale, but it still works out to be about only 8" long or so.If you know anything about Star Wars model kits, then you probably already know about Fine Molds and their meticulous attention to detail. The parts fit together exceptionally well, and don't even require glue to snap them into place, although I did glue mine together. I'm sad that Fine Molds has lost the LucasFilm modeling license. Let's hope Bandai can do this kit justice!

Great model kit!!! Parts fit together perfectly and tightly, no glue needed. Final product can be displayed on a stand or with landing gear down. Includes water slide decals and sticker decals or can be painted. Fantastic kit, Fine Molds kits are definitely worth the money. If you want a great looking X-Wing with all the small details this is the one.

I was under the impression it was brand new and still in the original cellophane. The item came with open box, but all the parts appear to be there.

this is a very good kit. very expensive, but well detailed and at 1/48 scale a good working size. Kit quality is equal to Hasegawa or Tamiya.

Still at it. Finished assembly, halfway thru painting. Everything snapped into place accurately.

A bit over-priced but otherwise a fine kit although not overly any more spectacular than the old mpc kits of which i picked up 2 on e-bauy for half the price of the fine molds kit.
