Q: Is it still kosher? (Tikka masala) I no longer see the kosher symbol in the photograph

I just bought this item at a local grocery store, and it had the kosher symbol (kof-k) on the back. The tikka masala is dairy, but others may be dairy equipment. I called kof-k to double check, and they verified it is certified kosher (when bearing their symbol).

Q: which kosher agency (o-u/kof-k/star-k etc, certifies these simer sauces kosher? there answer is No one. its not cert kosher.

I could not taste the pepper. I would say this is a mild to medium spicy sauce

Hi, There is a space for the Best By and lot information on the back panel, lower left next to the UPC code. The top 6 digits are the Best By Date: mm dd yy. Please let me know if you cannot find it. Thanks, Jack
