Great design but does not last.
Really good product. The slim nature of the clutch means much less felt in contact with the cymbals. I bought this because my new, much lighter, hi-hats were being damped by the larger felts on my last clutch. These are perfect; as well as the lack of damping, they allow much more freedom of movement to the top cymbal, without being in any way out of control. It seems very well made and sturdy.UPDATE: after less than 3 months, the thread went on the screw. The metal is simply too soft. A great shame.

It's a hihat clutch. It's not a complicated part, but it works well enough and didn't fall apart
