I have worn this for 20 years and hope they never stop making it! One of my all time faves!

I'm just a guy that likes to smell nice, so I was in Sephora when I came across this for the first time and I had to buy it. I just got one of the sample sizes to test run it and I was very satisfied. Sample sizes don't last too long though, so I was running low, and decided to go all in and buy a bottle. But instead of getting it from Sephora, I decided I'd check Amazon instead this time. Fast forward a bit, I now have enough of the same size leftover that I was able to do a side-by-side for comparison purposes.First off, the box and the product that I got both say Eau de Parfum on them, so no mixup so far between the product I ordered and the product I was given (I don't know why so many people seem to be complaining about that in the comments. Apparently I lucked out or they just somehow purchased the wrong thing.) Anyways, continuing on, just to make sure I wasn't given a knock off, I sprayed the sample I got from Sephora onto a piece of cloth, and then I sprayed this onto a different piece of cloth. They both smell the same.The bottle is 2.5 Fl Oz, which is great because that's enough to last for a really long time, even if you go out on the regular like I do. I haven't done a duration test yet, but next time I go out for the night I'll make sure to spray this and see what the duration of the effects are. It's Eau de Parfum, so it should be lasting; the Sephora spray sure was; 1-2 sprays and I was good for the rest of the day basically. Hopefully this is the same. The great thing is that (at least at the time I purchased it) the bottle is cheaper on Amazon than in Sephora ($25 difference when I purchased it). I'm guessing the prices goes down since they get to bypass the department costs. Either way, it's cheaper here, which makes this Very Irresistible (pun totally intended).

I love the subtle scent as it’s not overwhelming. It last for hours and the compliments are always coming when I wear it. I would buy it as gift but usually hint to the kids that I want to receive it as a gift for me on those Special holidays!

I have worn the same perfume practically my entire life. Then one day, I noticed a subtle change in the scent after I sprayed it on. I've always heard people say that our body chemistry changes as you get older and they were right! My cherished and trusted Zen by Shiseido no longer smelled like a subtle breeze of cherry blossoms on the wind in the Orient, instead just like rubbing alcohol! Thus the search began...Imagine my surprise and joy to have found Very Irresistible by Givenchy, Eau de Parfum. Not to be confused with the Eau de Toilette, two very different fragrances for sure. The Eau de Toilette seems to have a youthfulness about it when I compare it to the Eau de Parfum. The Eau de Parfum blends a certain "something" extra to the roses, berries and lemony tones that is not in the Eau de Toilette. Not being a fragrance expert, I don't know that that "something" is, but it give the Eau de Parfum a more sensual oriental scent, that the Eau de Toilette does not have. The Eau de Parfum is richer lasts much longer on me, than the Eau de Toilette. Since I started wearing this fragrance, I could not believe the number of compliments I have received. For me I have found the scent that I hope will take me through the next 50 years of my life! LOL To have found it at such a wonderful price on Amazon is the icing on the cake. I stocked up and purchased 2 bottles!

I am sad - I spent almost 100 on the eau de parfum (not toilette; I love this perfume, I get compliments EVERY time I wear it) because it has such a beautiful, floral smell. I would have purchased it in a department store, but I haven't had the time because of work, and I'm running low. I got it about a week ago but only opened it today, and when I sprayed it on, it smells like 70% alcohol (more like a scented hand sanitizer than parfum). And there are no returns. So I'm not saying it's the seller, but before you lay out good money, go to the store and make sure you get what you want. This will wind up in the trash.

I got this perfume as a gift a few years ago. Finally brought it again for myself, I just love it. Fast delivery, very happy!

The tube that feeds the spray head is less than a third of the depth of the bottle. The only way to get the scent out below this level is by inverting the bottle. But eventually even this will not work and a substantial amount of perfume cannot be extracted without breaking off the cap. This is an expensive perfume meaning that approximately £22 of perfume is lost unless I take a hammer to the bottle. The photo of the bottle on the Amazon site shows the tube going to the bottom of the bottle so this one is a faulty product. Can I get a refund for the perfume I cannot access?

Absolutely no scent at all,bought for my wife and was very Disappointed especially knowing very well the scent of the original very irresistible. It dissappear immediately after spray felt like it was water in a givenchy bottle complete waste of money

Great quality and fab smell. I've been wearing this scent Since the early 2000s, I wear it for a month or two, wear others then come back to this as it's sensual and works well in all seasons

Bought for my daughter as Christmas present. She had tried it before and likes the scent.
