UVB Narrowband – most effective phototherapy lamp plus design freedom. More than 400 independent clinical studies have proven that the UVB Narrowband PL-L/PL-S lamps are safer and more effective than any other lamps in their class. This version provides additional design freedom for system manufacturers since these are space-saving compact, single-ended lamps. Further flexibility is assured since they use the same lamp caps as general lighting lamps, they also use the same universal ballasts. Their best-in-class treatment effectiveness is a result of their very narrow waveband emission: between 305 and 315 nm with a peak at 311 nm. This is the most efficacious waveband for the treatment of psoriasis, and is therefore much more focused. As a result, exposure times are much shorter and this in turn leads to a reduction of side effects such as reddening of the skin and itching. All of this makes them ideal for phototherapy treatment for diseases like psoriasis, para psoriasis, vitiligo (Commonly called Safed Daag or Fulveri or white patches), atopic dermatitis and mycosis fungoides. What’s more, because the overall dosage of this narrowband radiation can be closely controlled, these lamps are suitable for home therapy.

It got broken in the beginning of use... I tried to use later after discussion with Doctors, therefore, could not requested flr replacement... Very poor quality for such expensive medical instruments...

Crude and cheap design and rip off price
Proverbial - wish there was an option to give less than 1 star.This product is very cheaply made, bad design with the bulb falling out of socket all the time.The 9w UVB philips bulb provided is available on amazon for 300 rupees. When you buy this product for 9900 rupees what you get is a rupees 300 bulb, cheap plastic apparatus with wire and pouch for such inflated price. I would suggest you save your money and buy something branded and more affordable.If you still want to buy then remember that because of its bad design and cheap material the device doesnt last for more than 6 months.

Works well, results visible within weeks!
Works well. I used it on every alternate day for 2-3 months, 1-2 minutes on every spot. Works well.Too much exposure can lead to red/burnt skin, avoid that. Use very less for a few weeks to see the effect.

Great Device for my Vitiligo problem!!!
