100 DPD 3 Palintest Swimming Pool Test Tablets

I thought there must be something wrong with my pool as these testers were showing as yellow on the DPD side or just clear water.We know there is chlorine present.Yesterday I went into a pool shop to ask for help, they say the packs that I have are faulty given out false readings.I tried the pool shop testers and can now see that my local shop was right, theirs are giving me the normal pink DPD reading of 2.I was so worried that we were about to empty a very large inground pool.
