SeaKlearAquaPill - WinterPill 2 ¾

Closing pool for season I have used this before ,like the ease of use ,came as expected. Water has stayed clear in previous years no alge once and done for the season easy clean for open in spring cost is reasonable , quality is ok

I used this last winter – putting it in the middle of September and opening the pool in the middle of June. The pool water was absolutely crystal clear and swimmable within hours! I literally had to do nothing but check chemical levels – I didn’t even have to vacuum the pool (but of course I we did vacuum it when it was closed.I do need to point out that we have a mid-size Intex pool that holds considerably less than the 15,000 gallons advertised this item is intended for. But it worked remarkably, and I have no doubt that when we open the pool next June it will again be crystal clear!

I closed down our pool yesterday. Went through all the work of draining and removing all steps and equipment, got the pool cover stretched out over it and was ready to go. Went to retrieve my Amazon package with this item in it only to find that it was leaking all inside the package. I had to go ahead and put it in the poo as I was ready to strap the cover and call it done. Upon further inspection the cap where the fluid is supposed to come out was cracked. All of the fluid may be out by now, I'm sure it won't time release as it is supposed to. I was excited to use this product for all the rave reviews, but am disappointed that it may not last all winter. Only time will tell - I wish I would have had time to exchange but I was already to far in the pool closing process. :(5/6/23 Update: Just opened the pool. Clear as a bell!! Did what it was supposed to do! Will purchase again.

First time buyer.....hoping for the intended outcome next spring!Makes winter pool prep easy and only 1 step chemical instead of other multi-chemical additions. Simple instructions, popped "hole" as instructed with no issues, unlike other reviews I had read.If this works over the winter, will be buying more every year!!!

Great value. Does its job. Puncture and throw in the pool. Still nice clear water. Picture worth a thousand words!

This product was simple to use and highly recommend by other neighbors. I can’t wait till next years season of pool days and to see how this worked for this winter.

Lot smaller than expected. Hope it last all winter

We’ve used one of these every winter at closing time for 5+ years. Super easy, just poke an hole in it and every spring when we remove the winter cover, it’s crystal clear!

In early October I over chlorinated our 10,000 gallon above ground pool, threw this Pill Pool, and then winterized and covered it. Here we are 7+ months later. I took the cover off, and the water is clear and nice with just a touch too high chlorine. Honestly, the chems are close enough that I could have gone swimming immediately after removing the cover. 100% chance I will buy this again this fall, but I probably won't over chlorinate my pool too much this time as the pill seemed to handle it just fine.

Bought this for my 20 foot above ground pool last year, in the spring the water was crystal clear, would definitely buy again each year.

It definitely made a difference in our spring opening. I also used the spring one and the water was crystal clear with no need to balance the chemicals as they were already perfect

I waited until we opened our pool this year before responding. This worked great. Pool was nice and clear when we opened it.
