Sperry Mens Authentic Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe

First of all, I should note that the first pair of dock shoes I ordered ended up being a half-size too large. The Seller was VERY accommodating, offering to send me the correct size immediately, i.e., before receiving the return pair. Once I got the second pair, they fit perfectly and appeared to be of the usual Sperry top quality. I've worn the shoes for a couple of days to break them in prior to my cruise trip to the South Pacific, but, honestly, they were pretty comfortable from the moment I first put them on. I am very happy with this purchase, and very grateful for the Seller's attitude throughout.

My second set of Topsiders, and the quality is always great. The only reason I bought another was that I lost my first pair over the side while sailing (ironic and my fault, not the fault of the shoe). These are well made, will last years, and I highly recommend. I ordered these through Amazon rather than Sperry or any other site because the price was much better. Regarding sizing, I go off of Sperry’s website recommendations based on their shoe-size-match tool comparing various brands. Also, it’s worth checking out Sperry’s videos on tying options. Topsiders typically fit a little loosely coming out of the box (and then fall off your feet while your sailing), but they tighten up easily and the decorative knots Sperry showcases hold up much better than standard bunny ears.

High quality product, comfortable, well stitched and good looking. The light blue concerns me because it tends to show stains and dirt with time so I used a product similar to Scotch Guard to protect the shoes from dirt and humidity. The protection is not perfect but helps. My wife loved the shoes so I tend to wear it just indoor, it is not really made to be exposed to rain and mudd.

Upon first receiving the shoe, my first thought was, "holy crap, someone literally stole my shoes and resealed the package!" Then I remembered reading that the shoes were supposed to be crazy light. Obviously, they are. When I pulled them out of the box, I realized why they are so light...this is also the reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. So, the soles are made of foam as opposed to rubber (or normal sole material). I suppose this is fine. I imagine they will have great traction in the rain. However, the durability of the sole is what concerns me. I hope I can break in the shoe before the sole wears down. I've only owned the shoe for two days and so far no problems. On a brighter note, the are by far the most comfortable pair of shoes you'll ever own. I wish Sperry would use these insoles in all of their shoes. Honestly, I may just put the insole in my old sperrys.

Love these shoes. Great quality and brand new condition as advertised. I've worn them at.least three times already. But NOTE: the Sperry's listed with "O/A" like these, fir best to the exact size of your foot. In my experience other Sperry's still have too much space above the toe. And I'd you're like me then any space left is too much. Cause like...who needs extra space in their shoes, like seriously for what! -_- But these are great. Love em. And more on my list from this seller to buy as well. Shipping was great. They use FedEx, and the driver came right to my door and everything. Greest purchase.

They are a little bit narrower than other top siders I have used. They are super nice color and texture, very different and interesting to wear. I would say that they fit as espected because the others fit a little wide. Go with your number an no socks or a half number up if you like to wear socks.

I bought a 9.5 and these fit as expected. The navy color is a very attractive, versatile color. The leather looks great. Just a super neat, clean looking shoe, that is also very comfortable to walk around in. I've gotten compliments on them. I would buy again from Sperry and from this seller.
