Not safe for small children.
Bought for us as a gift, I wouldn't recommend this for any child who still regularly puts things in their mouth (i.e. suitable only for 3yrs onwards). Our 14-month old managed to dismantle this - as seen in the attached photo there are small metal parts that could easily be ingested/inhaled.
