Build quality is good. Just one advise to new comer like me ,if you are using any cartridge razor, use a light hand while using this and don’t put more pressure as you may have put in cartridge razor. It gives very smooth shaving.

After using Gillette mach 3 for more than a decade the razor seemed to be heavy at first. But the shave was well. Had couple of cuts but it was expected from me. Tried second time it was much better.

After a use of 2 weeks, it's doing good.

It's a good shaving handle. But within a few days, I saw rust inside the place where we placed the blade.

I have been using twin blades since last so many years. Initially I was very sceptic using the traditional razors. But because I was not satisfied with the twin blades I decided to go for it. I would get that 5 'o clock shadow by the afternoon. Twin blade ads are all sham. The razor is very easy to use. I was very horrified as I was expecting several cuts as I was using it for the first time but to my dismay , I haven't had even a single cilut till now. The handle is ergonomically designed and the angle of the blades is very nice. It gives you a closer shave, better than the twin blades. No, 5 o ' clock shadow anymore.

This is an excellent high quality butterfly type razor. This was my first butterfly razor and I am impressed all the way around from the packaging to the product itself. For the money I doubt anything else is even close to the value in terms of the build quality. That being said it is one or two degrees more aggressive than my Edwin Jagger DE89 which makes it less desirable to me for shaving my head with. I don't seem to have any issues with more aggressive razors on my face but for my head I really need a super mild razor and this isn't it although its not super aggressive either. However - I am not in any way saying that the medium aggressiveness is a bad thing. There are different levels of aggressiveness for a reason and many people find the Edwin Jagger DE89 too mild. So I am only mentioning the contrast between the two for comparison sake. I still will use this razor as a backup and occasionally shave my head with it (which I have done with acceptable results - just would prefer super mild for the head - less possible razor burn with my still-improving technique). As such, I can't recommend this as a first razor because of the medium aggressiveness, especially for head shaving. For that I'd recommend the most mild razor you can find and pair it with just the right blade.

I love the look of this razor. The fit and fitness is just shy of the very beautiful Parker razors but this Pearl looks great. It has the right amount of heft and I wanted a long handled TTO. The black gold colored handle is unique and attractive. This razor is on the aggressive side. Very close to the Schone made by Fatip. If you want a hefty, well made twist to open ,add attractive razor...this is a great option. I love mine. Let the razor glide and do it's job.
